Papos v.o.s. je osnovan 1992. godine kao nastavak sto godišnje proizvodnje kartona, na lokaciji u mjestu Ostrov, u zapadnoj Češkoj. Proizvode karton isključivo iz sekundarnih sirovina - recikliranog papira i tekstila.
